When Doug was back in Oz for Christmas 2002, he spent two days on the Bibbulman Track with Alene. Unfortunately, he didn't take his camera and Alene's ran out of batteries so there are few photos.
Fortunately, they did remember the bottle of wine and shared a great mother/son couple of days - even if Alene did need tetanus and antiobiotics when we came home.
